When placing potted bamboo indoors, it is important that they get lots of light and that they are prevented from getting too dry.

A challenge for indoor bamboo is the dryness associated with air conditioned spaces. This can be lessened by keeping a wet pebble dish at the base of the plant. The bamboo that do best indoors, include bissetti, crooked stem, golden, koi and black.
